In Teaching , teachers should be eclectic on what they want to explain in class, make smart choices and use appropriate strategies that fulfill students needs and Goals. Due to the significance of teaching nowadays, attending Educ 560 Class is a good experience . It is effective for me to know the immense impact of technology in Education especially on students success so they can be able to feel comfortable through learning.
Jacob Kounin theory was that the teacher should have the ability to manage the students behavior through different strategies and techniques. The Teacher by designing an effective lesson plan, will be providing classroom management, and the key is not in dealing with misbehavior rather than preventing them before they occur. There are many ways to design an effective lesson where the teacher should be attentive and make sure that all the students are involved all the time in the lesson and the activities. The main key ideas in the Kounin Model are: 1. The ripple Effect 2. With-it-ness 3. Overlapping 4. Effective transitions 5. Group Focus 5. Satiation The most I like is the with-It-ness concept which is a term made by kounin to describe how the teacher is attentive. To him, the Teacher should be able to know what is going on in all areas of the classroom as if he/she is with all the students.
